"This artwork represents the resurrection of Jesus and the new life that the resurrection brings. The dark area at the bottom depicts the death of Jesus on Good Friday and the brokenness in people's lives. The vibrant colors rise up out of the tomb to represent Jesus' resurrection three days later. These colors blossoming out of the dark background also represent our brokenness being transformed into beauty and the new life that we receive through Him."
