Hello Future, You're Glorious is 3' diameter created with acrylic mixed with heavy gel, packaging material and gold leaf on wood panel.

Artwork Description: Although the future does not always seem as though it will be glorious, when we are in Christ Jesus, it is! As I reflected on the scripture within Benny's message, the Holy Spirit gave me an image of God's glory represented with metallic gold at the top of the artwork. The Holy Spirit then gave me freedom to create something beautiful below the metallic gold to point to His Glory. I chose packaging material repurposed from Z.W. Mercantile to create movement and beauty out of a material that is often discarded and not always seen as beautiful. The gold, along with other colors, immersed itself into the packaging material further conveying God's Glory in the restoration Jesus does as He brings the Kingdom of heaven to Earth in our lives, as well as the glory that will be experienced when we are in the fullness of Heaven, seated with Jesus at the throne.
 
I had the joy of creating this artwork live in October 2024 alongside the sermon "Hello Future, You're Glorious" by Benny Yu, one the co-founders of El Pozo De Vida, an anti-trafficking ministry in Mexico City.
